How Your Solution Can Help

Afternoon Inventive Hackers-

Our challenge team is so appreciative of your interest and participation in this challenge! We know you’re busy building tools to help make the world work faster, smarter, and easier, and want you to know that we’re grateful for your participation in the Offender Reintegration Toolkit challenge.

Studies show that people leaving the criminal justice system have a higher proportion of substance use and mental disorders than the general population. Treatment and recovery support, along with housing and employment are necessary to help newly released individuals address substance use and mental disorders and to keep them from reoffending. Easy to find information and resources can help them (and their family and friends) as they return to their communities.

Developers will take home $10,000 for first prize, $7,500 for second prize, and $5,000 for third prize. Make sure you enter to win!
